Riding the Moonlight Omnibus
They rode the moonlight through the air,
In ecstasy and verve and flair,
With overbrimming love to share,
With not a jot of care.
The heaven’s white a sacred sight,
With ghosts and faery in delight,
An omnibus courageous bright,
Phantasmal in the night.
The magic horses on the wing,
The fireflies with lamps to bring,
The little cherubs wont to sing,
To please the fairy king.
The congregation seeking bliss,
Enamoured of the lunar kiss,
Across the boundless night’s abyss,
Above the ocean hiss.
Their ululations gifting glee,
The movements made of ecstasy,
In laughter joined above the sea,
In laughter racing free.
