Lost in Lunar Rays
Selene ascendant o’er the rim,
Of coral reef and sleeping seas,
The lonely stars appointed dim,
With salt upon the breeze.
The witches of the eastern isle,
Again awake and rove the hills,
The lunar rays in pallid style,
Bring otherworldly chills.
The darkly silhouetted trees,
Against the luminescent space,
The lunar monarch speaks with ease,
As hidden spirits chase.
The sisters find a precious bliss,
In which to slake their lust for night
The opalescent lunar kiss,
To instigate delight.
The majesty of mother earth,
With hidden shrines and mossy glens,
The praising of deific worth,
Below the heaven’s lens.
The chanting of angelic names,
The gestures to awaken all,
The coaxing of the occult flames,
To garner heaven’s thrall.
The soulfulness of worship song,
When calling through the hidden vale,
The sisters rousing ghosts to throng,
With blessings to avail.
The owls upon the stretching branch,
The aethers with enchantment through,
The cleansing moonlight apt to blanch,
The clinging curse from view…
