Sea and Sky
Sea and sky in lonely meeting,
In the ghostly grotto greeting,
Salutations oft repeating,
In a hidden bliss beyond.
Silvery the moon abiding,
In the ashen aethers hiding,
Fanciful, forever gliding,
Comets streaking like a wand.
Winds attuned to heaven’s knelling,
Prophesies of mortals telling,
Revelation’s grandness spelling,
Coming ages newly dawned.
Breathing out the song of ages,
From the sky’s etheric pages,
Love ā the height of heaven’s wages!
God and man in grateful bond!
Skies with enigmatic gladness,
Savouring a happy madness,
Celebrating banished badness,
From the planets to the frond.
Such a broad resplendence staging,
Hopefulness and solace waging,
With a beatitude engaging,
In the dress of angels donned.
Ecstasy in measured showing,
Lands alert but with unknowing,
To the brink forever going,
Gifting wonders ever fond.
