To heaven’s height!
Upon the breeze in sweet delight!
The stars aloft astounding bright!
A reverential flight!

By sacred strings and second sight!
The moon an otherworldly wight!
With comets like a kite!

The flowing stars a dancing sprite!
The firmament bedecked in white!
Our gladness feather light!
Into the night!

Take heed my love — we shall alight!
Upon the moon in silver might!
Her surface recondite.
