Devilish and Wayward Dreaming
Devilish and wayward dreaming,
Madness in my bosom steaming,
Almost at the point of screaming,
As the lurid nightmares cling.
With the incense thickly blowing,
I see visions hotly glowing,
Pointed tails in slackness flowing,
Underneath the heaven’s ring.
Moon and planets darkly arching,
With satanic minions marching,
Stiff within, my spirit starching,
As the sorry monsters sing.
Gardens made of neon glisters,
Satan birthing gruesome sisters,
Lords and ladies caked in blisters,
With the hound of hell as king.
Fornicating spectres squirming,
Into new contortions worming,
Sordidness and sloth affirming,
Lust applied to any thing.
Jesters jumping so audacious,
Feasting in the hall rapacious,
With the devil bowing gracious,
With the fates upon the wing!
Frogs upon the grasses hopping,
In the silky moonlight sopping,
Licking berries caked in topping,
As the sythes of torment swing.
Nauseating, awful truly,
Sinking ever downward duly,
Goblins fractious and unruly,
Bound within a fairy ring.
I am still, but also spinning,
In these catacombs of sinning,
Baphometic forces winning,
Like a vicious hornet sting.
Dreaming into darker chasms,
Writhing with abysmal spasms,
Overrun by red phantasms,
Haunted shapes are every thing…
