Moon and Sea

Moon and Sea

Moon and sea in ecstasy,
The lunar monarch high,
The boundless waves,
Are dancing knaves,
The light that saves,
The ocean craves—
Dianna rules the sky.

Moon and sea in harmony,
Two lovers joined in mirth,
The airy flow,
The lunar glow,
The astral show,
The waves below,
Such romance knit on earth.

Moon and sea in partnership,
Triumphant in their bliss,
The darksome sky,
With stars that fly,
The boats that lie,
In harbours shy,
Demonstrative they kiss.

Moon and sea in revelry,
In hedonistic joy,
Their luscious touch,
Enjoyed so much,
A grasping clutch,
With sighs and such,
True ardour they deploy!

Moon and sea unite so gay,
An evanescent show—
The fish that jump,
The whale’s thump,
The seaweed clump,
The seals plump,
Immersed in love they go…
