Gluttonous Death 💀
Gluttonous death in a ravenous hunt,
Making a meal of the soul,
Vacant of love in a deadly affront,
Dining on denizens whole.
Gluttonous death in debauchery crazed,
Stealing so many in war,
Rockets so brazen, the consciousness dazed,
Bodies in bags on the floor.
Gluttonous death in a flurry of hate,
Executes hope with chagrin,
Orange explosions so perilous great,
Sounding a terrible din.
Gluttonous death in a merry go round,
People and places destroyed,
Bombs in gratuity pummel the ground,
Every last tactic employed.
Gluttonous death in spectacular greed,
Shovelling people below,
Mercy, pray Allah, we beg and we plead,
Stem the despicable flow.
Gluttonous death running rampant again,
Gathering souls in her maw,
Help me, I’m innocent, children of ten!
Spare me, I humbly implore!
Gluttonous death in a fever so mad,
Wantonly keeping the stage,
Whole populations berated and sad,
Death in a damnable rage…
