Stars of Heaven

Stars of Heaven

Stars of heaven—
Lift me with thy radiant hands and let me dream away my forevers in thy keeping. Thou art the alpha and omega of my destiny, pretty stars. Make for me a tomb encrusted with thy infinite prizes, that I might die and die again in thy house of pure effervescence and peace.

Stars of heaven—
Pull me up into thy heavenly gallery by the bedazzling effulgence of thy merry glow and effortless singing. In thy splendid face I see a new elucidation of hope and the remembrance of God’s glory; His ineffable being and charm. Bring me into thy prestigious company that I mayest sit and listen until mine heart melts and mine eyes well with tears of joy.

Stars of heaven—
Lift me like a leaf in the breezes of thy good pleasure, as thou lightest the black space-caves above with silver grandiloquence. Invest in me thy sprightliness and verve. Help me to understand the source of thy undying life and overbrimming gladness. Slake my thirst by the water of thy happy fountain. Bring me a secret revelation of thy sacred fire which burns in such prodigious and inexhaustible life.

Stars of heaven—
Rouse me to ecstasy by thy garrulous speech, as thou talkest to infinity with happy banter and endless poetry. Make me a student of thine awesome cheer and banish mine ignorance by the splendour of thy spectacular revelation. Prepare for me a bed in thy clandestine chamber of moon worship and prayer, that I might drink my fill of solace and join thee in a destiny of liquid peace.
