Silvery Sequins

Silvery Sequins

Silvery sequins in manifold shine,
Clothing of silk fashioned out of the brine,
Shadows as deep as the soul of the sky,
Meeting my curious eye.

Blue tones in majesty, seemlessly styled,
Palletes of grey falling onto the wild,
Wind sweeping o’er in gentleness blown,
With my bare feet on the stone.

Sunlight in rapture sent down through the clouds,
Lighting the heavens in ivory shrouds,
Speaking of radiant beings above,
Fashioned in God’s holy love.

Fish sliding under reflections that dance,
Tails whipping sideways, the school in a trance,
Water and air singing unto the day,
Over the riverbed clay.
