Damnation’s Train

Damnation’s Train

All aboard damnation’s train!
In swarthy black, with soot for rain,
As reckless as the storming main,
The clacking pistons scream again!

All aboard! The course is set—
The driver in a ruddy sweat,
The crew in lead perdition’s net,
We know the price; we serve our debt!

All aboard the chugging hearse,
Aye, on we go, from bad to worse,
Into destruction we disperse,
To mighty Jesus we’re averse!

The cabin dank, the people wan,
Our journey in decay begun,
In spider webs of doom we’re spun,
We praise the moon, abjure the sun.

The clacking tracks make raucous chant,
The pistons shrieking in a rant,
You’ll never save us nor supplant,
The spells that bind us and enchant.

There is no soothing this distress,
This plunge into the wilderness,
Velocity that does impress,
The fuel of hate — it slakes our stress.

The landscape set in shades of grey,
Eternal night usurp the day!
All aboard! Do not delay!
Our trip to hell — it’s where we’ll stay…
