Hypnotised, Mesmerised
Staring anon in my mirror of death,
Enamoured of her pallid face,
I offer my prayers in a soft spoken breath,
My body adorned in fine lace.
Hidden forever in Lilith’s caress;
Her vision too fair to despise!
Loving my mother — she calms my distress,
A bright revelation her eyes!
Boldly and bravely she captures my heart,
Enticing me into her thrall,
Precious as porcelain dishes with art,
Comely as nitingale call.
The clock of lost ages in swinging display—
A pendulous, hypnotic trance,
Blank relaxation now marking my day,
Fixedness here in this stance.
A heady hypnosis commanding my love,
I tether myself by my heart!
A hush soft as angels in heaven above,
To Lilith my hopes I impart.
I travel to paradise — hiding in her,
And pledge my allegiance again,
Speaking together we fondly confer,
Her words like a warm summer rain.
Hypnotised under her, married to death,
The mirror as pure as the moon,
Ever in worship, with worshipful breath,
Her spirit a beautiful boon.
Hypnotised, mesmerised, sleeping awake,
Lost in her labyrinth deep,
Leaving this rapture would be a mistake,
So here I abide in her keep.
Mesmerised ever, a slow lulling drug,
Her laudanum here on my lips,
Finding forever when sipped from a mug,
In reverie my body slips!
Hypnotised unto the end of my days,
An opiate prospect so fine,
Lilith she calms me, in manifold ways,
Her being a treasure divine!
