Inverted and Perverted

I stare into a concrete slab,
Now crushed in the abyss;
The angels and bright God above,
Have blown their goodbye kiss!

A hand implanted in the earth,
A punishment extreme!
The outer darkness impotent,
To raise a once bright dream.

A Taurus fixedness in dirt,
As flailing legs fly up!
Inverted and perverted, aye,
I drink a wrathful cup.

The fickle twins of Gemini,
Assail me with their laugh,
As I am blown clean off the throne,
Like wind borne bits of chaff!

Aquarius is not amused,
Her wisdom is alarmed,
Her perspicacious mind aggrieved,
Where once before ’twas charmed.

And zealous Aries’ fire is spent,
Defunct in buried snow,
A dessimated paradise,
Sent down to hell below.

The covert crab of Cancer hides,
Inside her crusty shell,
With memories as ornaments,
Her hurt to softly quell.

And roving Sagittarius,
Confused as ever, baulks,
Perversity consoled again,
By energetic walks.

Libra, out of balance, quakes,
As hell reveals its flare,
Decisions, once emboldened, stalled,
By this fine mind of air.

Virgo, analytical,
Into this damage sent,
Philosophical at heart,
But wryly, sharply bent.

Pisces, in the aether, gone,
Dissociated, lost,
The sign of Christ now sacrificed,
At devastating cost.

Capricorn, meticulous,
And organised, departs,
Once again to madness moved,
As disagreement starts.

Leo, self-indulgent, drugged,
And high again on coke!
The lion can no longer rule,
His majesty a joke.

Scorpio, with testing skill,
And jealous, is irate,
At the will of God to close,
The doors of heaven’s gate.

So into darkness, spiralling,
My soul is set to sink,
Descending long into the pit,
A wormwood poisoned drink.

The cross can raise the dead they said!
But I am dead as steel!
And further revelation?
God above cannot reveal.

Mute and dumb and blind and lost!
Perverted to the core,
Inverted, in a face plant poise,
And cast from heaven’s shore!
