Disgorging Time
Disgorging time, in endless retching spirals,
Destitute in nauseating loops,
Concertinaed ages, rolling backwards,
Purposeless and pointless people groups,
Devastated destinies and timelines,
Infinitely mangled, road-kill souls,
Poised to witness heaven, but forsaken,
God’s pernicious wrath in bitter bowls,
I will not touch the corpselike hand of Adam!
Blue as death before mine angry eye,
Life has left his person; he’s a zombie,
Sent unto the grave below to die!
Captaining the ship, a phantom presence,
Sailing rudderless upon the sea,
Set upon by kraken monsters clinging,
Heading into black catastrophe,
Sacrifices sick with sordid evil,
Children in starvation screaming loud,
Dilapidated friendships and rebellion,
Sweeping like a cataclysmic cloud,
Directionless, aside from hot damnation,
Plunging ever downward like a rock,
Cast into the lake of fire and brimstone,
Plummeting below — a normal shock,
Appetites and mental calibration,
Like a set of gauges smashed in shards,
Now we walk together through the ages,
Wandering damnations boulevards…
