Dreamside Dominion
Nymphs in gentle grotto shade,
Enraptured by the waterfall,
Born of faery fathers fair,
And nymphae mothers tall,
Paradisic palaces and
Bubbles blazing bright,
Seven slender sylphen forms,
Ensorcelled by the sight,
Awake unto the dreamside flow!
Its effervescent shadow show!
Speaking with a silver tongue,
The silent secrets we would know…
Promise me you’ll heed the voice,
Please promise me you’ll listen,
To every glassy, star-like drop,
That in the waters glisten,
For there’s a call to faery realms,
That shine beyond the sea,
A greater place than this fair space,
Prepared for you and me,
I’ll wager, when we jump anon,
And loose the bonds of earth,
We’ll never die, but only fly,
Like angels bright with mirth,
Hold me near as we escape,
Together through the twilight,
Holding hands through shadowlands,
Into the silken midnight,
Light me with the love in you,
Enough to fill the hearts of two,
As over waves and rivulets,
We sail the starry skies of blue,
Be my love as we devour,
The distance with our speeding,
Let your heart awake and take,
Great pleasure in my pleading!
Spy the smiling sickle moon,
And gentle planets gleaming,
Close your eyes with lullabies,
And join me ever dreaming…
